Natalie has worked in a number of public hospitals in New Zealand, Australia and England treating both adults and children. She has specialists skills in swallowing disorders, Videofluoroscopy, Videopalatograms and cleft lip and palate.

Working for the combined cleft lip and palate team at New Zealand's largest hospital she was the sole speech therapist responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of resonance disorders including Velopharyngeal Incompetence.

Natalie also has diverse experience treating adults with communication impairments and swallowing disorders as a consequence to stroke, head injury and progressive conditions such as Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.

Natalie also has general skills in voice disorders and alternative assistive communication devices (AAC). During her time in acute and rehabilitative settings Natalie has had extensive interaction with other professionals such as Occupational therapists, Dieticians, Physiotherapists, Plastic surgeons and Ear Nose and Throat specialists.
