Michaela Emm-Evans is the Lead Speech and Language Therapist for Christchurch Group. She qualified in 1997 initially working in acute neurology and stroke rehab for East Herts NHS trust.

In January 1999 she joined St Andrews Healthcare working on the neuro behavioural rehab unit until joining Christchurch Group in Oct 2013.

Michaela has extensive knowledge of working within an MDT and working with people with moderate-severe brain injury, mental heaIth issues and complex communication and swallowing disorders. Michaela also works in private practice as a treating therapist.

She completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Communication at City University in 2006 and she has a special interest in social communication difficulties following brain injury.
